**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist ophthalmologists and surgeons during eye examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for ophthalmic surgeries.
- Monitor vital signs and observe patients for signs of complications.
- Administer prescribed medications and eye drops as directed.
- Educate patients on pre
- and post-operative care and eye health.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
- Ensure infection control protocols and cleanliness are strictly followed.
- Support outpatient, inpatient, and emergency eye care units as needed.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Handle patient admissions, discharges, and follow-up appointments efficiently.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Must be a registered nurse with the State Nursing Council.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in ophthalmology or surgical care (freshers can be considered based on attitude and learning ability).
- Knowledge of common ophthalmic procedures, instruments, and medications.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work in shifts and weekends, as required.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in eye OT / phaco surgeries.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and hospital management systems.
- Compassionate and detail-oriented approach to patient care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
