Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components of transformers, ensuring compliance with industry standards governing power, distribution, and special transformers.
- Create detailed mechanical drawings, models, and designs using CAD software.
- Develop tank, cooling system, core clamping, and structural component designs for transformers.
- Ensure mechanical designs meet thermal, dielectric, and structural performance requirements.
- Generate accurate Bills of Material (BOM) for all mechanical components.
- Conduct mechanical stress and thermal analysis for transformer components.
- Collaborate with electrical design teams to ensure alignment between mechanical and electrical specifications.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.
- Review and approve mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Identify and implement design improvements to enhance reliability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with ISO-9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and other applicable standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production and sales, to support company objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior mechanical engineers and technicians.
- Complete design activities within project deadlines and schedules.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Engineering.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
