Job Description: Store and Dispatch Assistant

Location: Pune, India

Experience: 2-4 years in the manufacturing industry

We are seeking a skilled and organized Store and Dispatch Assistant to join our manufacturing team in Pune. As a Store and Dispatch Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the inventory, ensuring the timely dispatch of goods, and maintaining accurate records of stock movements. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Inventory Management:

- Receive incoming materials and conduct quality checks to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Properly store materials in designated areas, ensuring appropriate labeling, categorization, and organization.
- Regularly monitor stock levels, anticipate inventory needs, and coordinate with the procurement team to maintain an adequate supply of materials.
- Conduct periodic stock counts, reconcile physical stock with system records, and investigate discrepancies.

2. Dispatch and Logistics:

- Prepare shipping documents, such as delivery notes, invoices, and shipping labels, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics providers to schedule dispatches and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Verify and pack items for dispatch, ensuring they are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Track the status of dispatched goods, communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, and address any delivery issues or delays.

3. Record Keeping and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Enter data into the inventory management system and update records regularly.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and dispatch activities as required.

4. Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the store and during dispatch operations.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to inventory management and dispatch operations.
- Identify and report any safety or compliance issues to the appropriate authorities.

**Requirements**:
1. Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a store or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

2. Skills and Abilities:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
