Architect - Otmm

**The Opportunity**:
An OpenText Professional Services OTMM Consultant is responsible for the technical delivery of the OTMM solution. Such delivery activities encompass the design, development, testing and documentation of specific software components - either providing extensions to specific items of core product functionality or implementing specific system integration components. This role has a heavy development emphasis, combined with the consultative skills required to promote the impression of quality and excellence actively fostered within the Offshore Professional Services team.

**You are great at**:
Work within an OpenText technical delivery team in order to:

- Good experience on building custom solutions using OTMM SDK, OTMM UI &Media Management REST API.
- Experience on Implementing custom Workflows, Transformers, Event listeners
- Good experience on Metadata Configuration & OTMM Administration
- Identify improvements and performance issues.
- End-to-end OTMM implementation cycle - Distributed development process, Packaging and Deployment process, code promotion for different environments
- Strong experience in analysis and reverse engineering of the solution.

**What it takes**:

- Experience in OTMM Application Setup in complex environments
- Participate in the development of custom OTMM implementation, in line with project and customer time scales.
- Good knowledge of the following technologies
- HTML5, CSS, Javascript and JQuery
- Spring Batch, Rest API, XML, JSON
- J2EE, AJAX, JavaScript, Angularjs, XSLT & JSP
- SQL - either Oracle or SQL Server specific knowledge preferable.
- Experience of Web Service, LDAP, FTP, Mail
- XML related technologies and frameworks
- HTTP and related protocols.
- JBoss, Wildfly, TomEE, Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Apache servers
- Windows Server, Solaris, HP UX, Linux (any one)
- Contributing to, and writing, detailed technical documentation
- Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems and to obtain relevant information needed to perform a given task
- Good problem solving and Trouble-shooting skills.
