**BOQ Preparation Expert Job Description**:

**Responsibilities**:

- **BOQ Preparation**:

- Conducting detailed quantity takeoffs from project drawings and specifications.
- Accurately preparing Bills of Quantities for construction projects.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure alignment between BOQ and project requirements.
- **Cost Estimation**:

- Analyzing project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements.
- Researching and updating cost databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing.
- Providing input on cost-related aspects during project planning and development.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintaining organized and detailed documentation of all quantity surveying and BOQ-related activities.
- Ensuring that all calculations and assumptions are clearly documented and easily accessible.
- **Collaboration**:

- Working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for BOQ preparation.
- Participating in project meetings to provide expertise on cost-related matters.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conducting reviews and quality checks on prepared BOQs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies or inconsistencies in the BOQ.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BOQ Preparation Expert in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation principles.
- Proficient in using BOQ preparation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

**Salary**: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- bill of quantities: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Kozhikode, Kerala (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Kozhikode, Kerala: Relocate before starting work (required)
