Summary of Position:
Supply Chain Reporting Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the global day-to-day operations activities, analyzing large data sets to drive data related insights, maintaining Tableau reports, implementing data quality controls, and troubleshooting data issues. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver robust analytical capabilities to drive business performance.

As a Data Analyst, Global Supply Chain Analytics supporting the Global Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for supporting the global day-to-day operations activities, analyzing large data sets to drive data-related insights, maintaining, and developing Tableau reports, implementing data quality controls, and troubleshooting data issues. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver robust analytical capabilities to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, a typical day will include:

- Support all day to day publication activities for GSC analytics dashboards to ensure all dashboards are published on-time and with no/very mínimal issues
- Analyze data to generate prescriptive and descriptive insights to drive supply chain performance
- Create and maintain rich interactive dashboards in Tableau by utilizing data from multiple data sources like SAP BW and Amazon Web Services
- Create and maintain ETL workflows by utilizing Alteryx
- Serve as gate keeper to ensure accuracy and completeness of data by developing and executing data quality controls
- Liaise with Global Supply chain teams to gather requirements and fulfill any data related queries

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
- At least 2 years experience developing/maintaining dashboards in Tableau
- At least 2 years experience developing/maintaining workflows in Alteryx
- At least 2 years experience in database querying languages (SQL) and/or statistical programming language (Python, R, SAS) is a preferred
- At least 2 years experience utilizing data warehouse technologies like SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse, Amazon Web Services (Athena), or Snowflake
- Understanding of supply chain concepts and pharma experience is preferred
- Experience in agile methodologies utilizing Jira/Confluence is preferred
- Advanced English

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
