Key responsibilities & duties:

- Accounts Payable:

- Monitoring purchase orders and bills
- Checking bills and ensuring they are paid in a timely manner
- Maintaining a petty cash account
- Accounts Receivable:

- Preparing and sending invoices to customers and ensuring they are entered into the

proper accounts in the accounting system
- Banking:

- Entering payments into the accounts receivable & payable system
- Reconciling monthly/quarterly bank statements, researching and correcting any

discrepancies
- Maintaining records according to generally accepted accounting principles including

the recordation of journal entries, asset purchase entries including preparation of

repayment/amortization schedules, accounts payable, accounts receivable &
reconciliation of bank/credit card statements
- Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and on time in an efficient

manner
- Processing of Payrolls per the requirement of the client
- General Ledger:

- Preparing detailed journal entries and month‐end reconciliation
- Review General Ledger in detail to ensure all the transactions are allocated properly

with the correct tax code & solve discrepancies if any
- Running general ledger trial balance at the end of the month prior to closing the

books to ensure accounts are balanced
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements/Management Reports per the

requirement of the clients
- Taxes:

- Preparing and submitting monthly/quarterly tax filings (IAS & BAS)
- Provide training to new fresher employees about the basic Australian Accounting
- Supervise the work of Accountants if required
- Support own and other team members for any software or client’s related work
- Perform other tasks conveyed by the General Manager and Board
- Possess good organizational & management skills.

Academic qualifications & experience:

- 01-03 years of Australian Accounting experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- CA/CS/ICWA Dropouts
- CA/CS/ICWA Qualified
