**Role Overview**

We’re on the lookout for a versatile **2D Illustrator cum Visualizer** for a **1-year contract** to help us bring our scripts to life through expressive, clean, and narrative-driven visuals. You will be working closely with our content and animation teams to create illustrations for videos like the one shared in this reference, involving storytelling elements, character-driven scenes, and playful yet clear design.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Visualize and design characters, environments, objects, and visual metaphors as per the video script and moodboard.
- Create illustration-ready assets (layered and animation-friendly) based on storyboards.
- Adapt visual styles based on audience—ranging from fun and colorful for younger learners to mínimal and sleek for professional contexts.
- Collaborate with scriptwriters, instructional designers, and animators for iterative improvements.
- Maintain high-quality outputs within tight timelines.

**Must-Have Skills**
- Proficiency in **Adobe Illustrator** and **Photoshop**.
- Strong drawing and visualization skills, with a solid sense of proportion, body language, and composition.
- Ability to create **characters with expression and emotion** across multiple poses.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling through illustration.
- Familiarity with creating layered files for animation (keeping rigging and movement in mind).

**Good-to-Have Skills**
- Basic understanding of motion design and animation workflows.
- Experience working on explainer videos, educational content, or story-based visuals.
- Ability to contribute creative ideas to storyboarding and visual metaphor design.
