SST Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans and curriculum materials for SST courses, ensuring alignment with academic standards and educational objectives.
- **Classroom Instruction**: Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, discussions, and activities to facilitate student learning and comprehension of SST topics. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress and mastery of SST concepts. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
- **Student Engagement**: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to active participation and critical thinking. Encourage students to explore and analyze historical events, cultural phenomena, and societal issues.
- **Integration of Technology**: Incorporate educational technology tools and resources into instruction to enhance student engagement and facilitate learning. Leverage multimedia presentations, online resources, and interactive learning platforms as appropriate.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success and address academic concerns. Maintain open communication channels to ensure effective coordination and teamwork.
- **Professional Development**: Stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices in social studies education. Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and pedagogical knowledge.
- **Administrative Duties**: Complete administrative tasks related to course planning, grading, attendance tracking, and reporting as required. Adhere to school policies and procedures regarding academic standards and student conduct.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, History, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Teaching certification or licensure in social studies education (if applicable).
- Strong knowledge of social studies content areas, including history, geography, civics, and economics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate students.
- Effective classroom management skills and ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction and familiarity with educational software/tools.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development as an educator.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: ₹9,611.92 - ₹36,566.30 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
