- Oversee the maintenance and organization of patient medical records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of medical history, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
- Manage the release of medical records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including obtaining proper patient authorization.
- Implement and maintain electronic health record (EHR) systems, including data entry, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure accurate coding and classification of medical records for billing and insurance purposes.
- Audit and review medical records for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established standards and protocols.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
- Provide training and guidance to hospital staff on proper medical record documentation, storage, and retrieval procedures.
- Assist with the implementation of quality improvement initiatives related to medical records management and documentation practices.
- Monitor record retention policies and ensure timely disposal of obsolete records while following legal guidelines.
- Participate in regular departmental meetings and maintain effective communication with medical staff, nurses, and administrative personnel.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical records management, EHR systems, and regulatory changes.

**Salary**: ₹28,646.62 - ₹30,000.48 per month
