**Purpose of the Role**
- 1) To plan, coordinate, monitor and execute the civil routine maintenance works and also civil project works, on time with the scheduled budget and quality
- 2) To effectively execute Management's assignments in infrastructure and facility development & maintenance related works

**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Strategic Orientation
- To effectively execute Management's assignments in infrastructure and facility development & maintenance related works
- Financial Orientation
- To plan, estimate, organize and submit the man and material requirements and also contractual orders/tenders for the approval of the management
- Customer focus & Value Add
- To coordinate with the internal customers like Mechanical, Electrical and other user departments for completing the civil projects as a whole
- Operational Effectiveness
- To ensure routine civil maintenance works are carried out in respect of all LMW Units, GKD MHSS, Dr. DJ R & D Centre and Guest House adhering to ISO standards
- To coordinate with the architect, interior and structural consultants with effective communication and understanding of the user departments and civil requirements
- To liaise with the government and other local bodies and ensure the statutes are complied with on time
- To execute and monitor the quality of civil works as per the approved standards and make arrangements for passing the bill of contractors after thorough scrutiny
- To ensure the OSP orders are completed on time in lines with the terms and conditions stipulated
- To effectively manage the Human Resources issues at the work spot while executing the civil works
- To fulfill the norms of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards requirements.
- To ensure the effective utilization of Civil materials by 3R Concepts.
- Co ordination and implementation of TQM initiatives.
- SOP preparation and adherence.
- To ensure on time completion of civil work in projects - effectively conduct weekly review meeting.
- To ensure Safety precaution measures in civil maintenance activities.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- To Reduce the Civil Maintenance Cost at all units.
- People Management
- Facilitate continuous learning and skilling across the section on essential functional and behavioural competencies
- Mentoring and managing a team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
