Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Steward to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment. As a Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for both staff and guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will play a vital role in upholding our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and silverware by following established procedures.
Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen surfaces, countertops, and storage areas.
Clean and sanitize dining tables, chairs, floors, and other areas of the dining space.
Empty trash cans regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste according to company guidelines.
Regularly inspect and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

Stock Management:Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing incoming supplies, including food items, cleaning agents, and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor of any shortages.
Maintain a well-organized stockroom, ensuring items are properly labeled, rotated, and easily accessible.
Assist in conducting inventory counts and reconciling stock discrepancies.

Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and address any specific cleaning requirements or instructions.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel immediately.

Compliance and Standards:Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with local health department regulations.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including uniform and grooming standards.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects as required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per business needs.

**Salary**: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
