**Job Description - HCC Coder**

**Role Overview**:
The HCC Coder is responsible for reviewing and analyzing patients' medical records to assign accurate diagnosis codes using ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and HCC coding guidelines. The role ensures compliance with client and insurance requirements while maintaining high accuracy and productivity standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate diagnosis codes.
- Adhere to client-specific and insurance-specific coding requirements.
- Maintain coding quality and productivity as per industry and organizational standards.
- Identify and resolve coding discrepancies in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of coded data.

**Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in HCC Coding/MRA Coding.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
- Proficiency in HCC coding guidelines and risk adjustment models.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to consistently meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
