- Planning projects: Architects are responsible for determining the scope, schedule, and budget for construction projects. They work with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that everything is on track and on budget.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations: Architects must be aware of and comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations. They must also be knowledgeable about environmental regulations, accessibility requirements, and other laws that impact the design and construction of buildings.
- Overseeing construction: Architects may oversee construction projects to ensure that they are being built according to plans and specifications. They may also address any issues that arise during construction, such as unforeseen site conditions or material shortag
