**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning and Execution**:

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to project goals, schedules, and quality standards.
- **Fabrication Management**:

- Oversee the fabrication processes for transmission towers, including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Work closely with fabrication vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
- **Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure adherence to engineering standards and project specifications.
- Ensure all processes comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- **Technical Documentation and Drawings**:

- Review and approve engineering drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), and fabrication documents.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to update designs as needed to address project demands.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Act as a liaison between clients, engineering, production, and on-site teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Ensure clear communication of project expectations, status updates, and any adjustments to the team and stakeholders.
- **Inventory and Resource Management**:

- Manage and control inventory for raw materials, tools, and equipment required for tower fabrication.
- Ensure effective utilization of resources to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- **Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:

- Identify potential risks in project execution and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Proactively address and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- **Experience**: 5-8 years of experience in **project management** and **structural steel fabrication**, specifically in **transmission tower fabrication** or **heavy steel structures**.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla), project management tools, and MS Office Suite.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of **welding processes, cutting, bending**, and other fabrication methods. Familiarity with **transmission tower standards**, structural steel codes, and quality compliance requirements.
- **Project Management**: Hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance for fabrication projects.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of **Quality Assurance** standards, including **NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)** methods like UT, MT, PT.
- Familiarity with **procurement processes** for raw materials and fabrication resources.
- Experience managing subcontractors and overseeing logistics for project materials and delivery.
