Horticulture Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Horticulture Supervisor is responsible for managing the landscaping and green space maintenance across residential and industrial real estate properties. Working closely with development and property management teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of landscaping and green spaces in residential and industrial developments.
- Oversee planting, pruning, pest control, lawn care, irrigation systems, and seasonal plant replacement.
- Ensure landscape elements are in line with property aesthetics and contribute to overall property value and resident satisfaction.
- Manage a team of gardeners, laborers, and maintenance staff including scheduling, task delegation, and training.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness, health, and visual appeal of all plantings and softscape features.
- Maintain an inventory of plants, fertilizers, and tools; coordinate procurement with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems for efficiency and water conservation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide input during project planning for new developments on plant selection, sustainability, and ongoing maintenance requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in landscape/horticultural supervision, preferably in a real estate or facility management environment.
- Strong knowledge of tropical and ornamental plants, lawn management, pest control, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings and planting plans.
- Proficient in team leadership, time management, and communication.
- Familiarity with landscaping software or scheduling tools is an advantage.
- Physically capable of overseeing work in outdoor environments.

**Working Conditions**:

- On-site work across multiple real estate developments, both completed and under construction.
- May require weekend or holiday supervision during critical planting or maintenance periods.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
