Job Title: General Manager - Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Provide financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to the management team.
- Monitor overall financial health of the organisation and advise on improvements.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a team comprising:
- Assistant Manager - Receivables & Payables with executive-level team members.
- Statutory Compliance Team
- Banking Operations Team
- Set objectives, provide guidance, and ensure continuous development of team members.
- Ensure effective collaboration across finance sub-functions.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
- Oversee timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable and payable.
- Ensure effective credit control and receivables management.
- Monitor vendor payments, reconciliations, and ensure optimal cash flow.
4. Statutory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.).
- Coordinate and manage internal and external statutory audits.
- Prepare necessary documents and liaise with auditors to ensure timely audit closures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
5. Banking & Financial Management
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners for daily operations and future financial needs.
- Manage all banking transactions, fund flows, and working capital requirements.
6. Financial Reporting & Control
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Strategic Financial Planning
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor performance against budget and take corrective actions.
- Provide insights to support business decisions and long-term strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, MBA Finance).
- Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in finance & accounts, preferably in a group company or diversified business setup.
- Proven leadership experience managing large finance teams.
- Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent relationship management skills with bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Hands-on experience in ERP systems like Tally and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
