**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1. Diagnosis**:To diagnose various skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, dermatitis, fungal infections, and other disorders.
**2. Treatment**: After diagnosing a condition, develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Treatment may involve prescribing medications, topical treatments, oral medications, injections, or procedures such as laser therapy, cryotherapy, or surgical excision.
**3. Aesthetic Dermatology**: To address concerns such as wrinkles, fine lines, scars, uneven pigmentation, and other aesthetic issues. These treatments may include Botox injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser resurfacing, and
microdermabrasion.
**4. Skin Procedures**: To perform a variety of skin procedures, including biopsies, excisions, incisions and drainage of abscesses, cyst removal, wart removal, and treatment of ingrown nails.
**5. Patient Education and Counselling**: To educate patients about their skin conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to maintain skin health. Also providing counselling on skincare routines, sun protection, and lifestyle factors that
can affect skin health.
**6. Research and Clinical Trials**:Should be involved in research to advance the understanding and treatment of skin diseases. Also, conducting clinical trials to evaluate new medications, therapies, or procedures for dermatological conditions.
