POSITION**:Accountant ( Foreign Remittance )**
JOB TYPE: FULL TIME
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Salary 35k/- per month
Experience: 3 to 8yr
WOKING DAYS: 6 DAYS
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Process Foreign Remittance Transactions**:
- Execute and oversee the timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound foreign remittance transactions.
**Ensure Compliance**:
- Stay updated on international banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements to ensure all transactions comply with relevant regulations.
**Currency Exchange Management**:
- Monitor currency exchange rates and execute transactions at optimal rates to minimize costs and maximize returns for the company and its clients.
- **Tax Compliance**: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations related to foreign remittances, including withholding tax requirements and reporting obligations.
- **Financial Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of foreign remittance transactions and prepare financial reports as required by management, regulatory authorities, and auditors.
- **Risk Management**:Identify and mitigate risks associated with foreign remittance transactions, including fraud, currency fluctuations, and operational risks.
- **Client Support**: Provide assistance and support to clients regarding foreign remittance inquiries, transaction status, and related matters.
- **Process Improvement**:Continuously review and improve processes related to foreign remittance transactions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- **Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on foreign remittance transactions.
- Strong understanding of international banking regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and tax laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact with clients.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
