Preschool Teacher

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Planning & Lesson Delivery**:

- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that includes activities to enhance motor skills, language development, early numeracy, social interaction, and creativity.
- Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, songs, and arts & crafts into the daily schedule.
- Use engaging methods to introduce basic concepts such as shapes, colors, numbers, letters, and early reading.
- **Child Development & Care**:

- Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment that promotes the emotional, social, and physical well-being of children.
- Encourage children's independence, self-confidence, and cooperative learning through group activities and individual attention.
- Monitor children’s progress and provide support in areas where they may need additional help.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive, structured, and interactive classroom environment that encourages children to participate and explore.
- Manage classroom behavior and guide children on appropriate social interactions, such as sharing, taking turns, and resolving conflicts.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:

- Regularly communicate with parents/guardians about the child’s progress, behavior, and any developmental milestones or concerns.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings to discuss individual child development and strategies for support at home.
- Provide guidance to parents on how to enhance learning at home.
- **Assessment & Progress Tracking**:

- Observe and assess children's learning and developmental progress through informal observations and structured assessments.
- Maintain records of children’s achievements and provide reports to parents.
- Use observations to tailor learning activities to meet individual developmental needs.
- **Health, Safety & Child Protection**:

- Ensure the safety and security of children by maintaining a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment.
- Follow all school policies related to health, safety, and child protection.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure that any health concerns are addressed promptly.
- **Creative & Physical Activities**:

- Organize and lead physical activities, both indoors and outdoors, to develop motor skills and promote physical health.
- Encourage creativity and self-expression through music, dance, and imaginative play.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay informed on early childhood education best practices, new teaching methodologies, and child development research.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching skills.
- **Collaborative Work**:

- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure a supportive and efficient classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other pre-school teachers to plan activities, organize events, and share teaching strategies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
