**Position Overview**:
The Retail Jewellers Branch and Head Office Auditor will focus on auditing branch operations, head office functions, and internal processes to ensure adherence to operational, inventory, and compliance standards. This role requires a deep understanding of retail jewellery operations, inventory management, and process auditing. The auditor will identify areas for improvement, mitigate risks, and ensure that the company’s internal controls are effective.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Audit Planning and Execution**:
○ Develop and execute audit plans for branch and head office operations.

○ Conduct operational, process, and compliance audits, focusing on key areas such as cash handling, inventory management, sales processes, and adherence to company policies.

○ Review and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

**2. Process Audits**:
○ Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of key business processes across branches and head office operations.

○ Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and deviations from standard operating procedures.

○ Recommend improvements to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and reduce risks.

**3. Inventory Management**:
○ Perform regular inventory audits to verify stock levels, discrepancies, and valuation. ○ Assess inventory controls, including storage, handling, and documentation processes.

○ Identify and report any inconsistencies or losses in inventory.

**4. Operational Audits**:
○ Evaluate the effectiveness of branch operations, including customer service, sales, and marketing practices.

○ Assess the efficiency and security of IT systems and data management.

○ Monitor the implementation of company procedures and policies at the branch level.

**5. Reporting and Recommendations**:
○ Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and areas for improvement.

○ Provide actionable recommendations to management to address identified issues.

○ Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.

**6. Risk Management**:
○ Identify potential risks related to inventory, operations, and compliance.

○ Recommend risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s assets and reputation.

○ Collaborate with management to develop and implement risk management frameworks.

**7. Training and Development**:
○ Provide training to branch and head office staff on audit-related matters, including internal controls, compliance, and risk management. ○ Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices
