**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Reporting to the Beverage Manager & Restaurant General Manager (in absence of Beverage Manager), responsibilities and essential job functions for a Head Mixologist includes but are not limited to the following**:

- **Responsible for market awareness in terms of new trends, systems & practices in food preparation and presentation.**:
- **Working in partnership with the Beverage Manager & Restaurant General Manager you will execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant**:
- **Should be efficient enough to complete all bartender duties when necessary**:
- **Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation**:
- **Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar**:
- **Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with V&RO standards**:
- **Having passion for wines and spirits with the ability to recommend and advise guests**:
- **Train bartenders and service team to ensure beverage knowledge and service levels are to V&RO standards**:
- **Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu**:
- **Assist the Beverage Manager with beverage procurement, beverage costing**:
- **Contribute to shift briefings as required as well as lead staff training sessions for all beverage products**:
- **Complete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control**:
- **Ensure all bartender checks are closed and guest billing is accurate**:
- **Ensure proper pouring of drinks in line with V&RO standards**:
- **Monitor bar opening and closing duties completed daily to standard including stock management and cleaning duties by bartenders**:
- **Ensure Proper Records are maintained for all trainings taken on beverages**:
- **Immediately investigate any complaints on beverage, accidents or incidents & takes immediate corrective actions, as per restaurant policy.**:
- **Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility**:
- **Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships.**:
- **Strong commitment to service**:
- **Supervise the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient beverage in accordance with licensing regulations associated with V&RO and the law of the land**:
- **Knowing the menu and product**:
- **Make recommendation that makes you reflect your knowledge, experience and your reputation as a Head Mixologist**:
- **Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, and up-selling**:
- **Coach new bartenders and bar backs following a training schedule and ensure the correct standards and methods of service of V&RO is maintained**:
- **Ensure that all team members are fully equipped with the tools, skills, behaviours and knowledge required before customer contact**:

- **Work in co-operation with the Beverage Manager on new cocktail trends**:
- **Allocate duties to the Bar team during the shift and to check that these tasks are completed to standards**:
- **Monitor and follow through on any lateness, sickness or absences by bar staff**:
- **Be knowledgeable to operate P.O.S system competently and efficiently**:
- **Manage compliance with food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures.**:
- **Manage outlet equipment maintenance.**:
- **Conduct staff performance assessment.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
