Role Description
The role of the Data Mapper/Profiler will be to work with Sales and Marketing teams to analyze and map from numerous data elements from disparate sources of data. Need to collaborate with Data Ware House team and identify the ways to blend data from diverse source. We will drive impactful and creative insights that will improve business decision-making. We will create the processes to deliver high quality, reconciled data.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with partners to explore the usefulness and feasibility of new data sets
- Collaborate with Data Ware House team to design and build technical data mapping rules
- Craft and maintain data artifacts such as Data Element Dictionaries, Logical Data Models, and Data Mappings
- Lead and be responsible for a cross-functional project team building solutions that use data to drive growth and revenue
- Identify data needs, drive methods and standards for data prep, data quality and governance
- Provide data modeling, mining, pattern analysis, anomaly detection and data visualization to address Business needs with tools/technologies such as Advance Excel, Salesforce, Salespage, SQL Server, Tableau and Alteryx
- Perform data analysis, data cleaning and data stewardship as and when required by role
- Effectively communicate technical analyses and results to non-technical partners through a variety of mediums, including Tableau dashboards, reports, and presentations
- Act as leader with vision for the use of data and analytics to drive critical business decisions, business strategy and product management activities
- Design and build technical data mapping rules
- Generate and maintain data process documentation
- Demonstrable analytical skills with an emphasis on data modeling and BI reporting
- Ability to dream big, create, and have fun doing it
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering) with Preferrable 2+ yeas of asset management or financial experience.
- Experience with ETL tools and databases such as AWS Redshift or SQL Server is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to deliver repeatable data solutions.
- Ability to take ownership and initiative, to negotiate, influence and build consensus and successfully navigate within a data driven environment of a leading global financial institution.
- Previous experience with ETFs/equities/mutual funds is desirable, but not necessary.
