Role Summary

As a Junior Designer, you will assist in the development of visually appealing and age-appropriate designs for

children’s products. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about working in the children’s design

space and looking to develop their skills while working closely with senior designers and other creative team

members. Key Responsibilities

 Assist in the creation of design concepts and artwork for a variety of children’s wear-babyboy/girl, clothing.  Work with the Senior Designer to adapt existing design concepts to fit the brand and product

requirements.  Create visually engaging patterns, illustrations,forecast and moodboard and graphicsthat appeal to children and

align with the brand’s aesthetic.  Prepare a design sampling as per design brief and forecast.  Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideasthat align with current trendsin children’s

design.  Ensure designs are age-appropriate and resonate with the target audience.  Assist with maintaining and updating design libraries, ensuring designs are organized and easy to access.  Stay up to date with trends in children’s design, fashion, and pop culture to ensure your designs remain fresh

and relevant. Key Requirements

 Proficiency in Design Software: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

and/or other design tools (Procreate, Figma).  Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design work for children’s products work.  Creative Mindset: Strong creative skills with an understanding of playful, vibrant, and child-friendly design

elements such as color theory, character design, and patterns.  Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure that designs are production-ready with a keen

eye for detail.  Understanding of Kids’ Trends: Awareness of current trendsin children’s products, pop culture, and the

children’s market. Preferred Qualifications

 Educational Background: A degree or certification ofcertification infashionDesignfromreputedcollegepreference - NIFT/NID

 Experience in Kids' Design: Previous experience (internships, freelance, or projects) in designing for kids’ products or services is a plus.  Experience with Textiles or Apparel Design: If designing clothing or accessories, knowledge of têxtile

design and print patterns is helpful.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
