- Participate in coding audits and provide feedback or corrections as needed.
- Meet productivity standards (e.g., coding X records per day).

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field preferred.
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent AHIMA/AAPC certification (e.g., RHIA, RHIT).
- Minimum 2-3 years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG, and APR-DRG methodologies.
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and coding tools (e.g., 3M Encoder).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with federal and state reimbursement regulations.
- Experience with clinical documentation improvement (CDI) initiatives.
- Knowledge of quality measures and hospital reimbursement methodologies.

**Work Environment**:
