**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **System Administration**: Maintain, monitor, and manage cloud and on-premises servers, ensuring high availability and security of critical services.
- **CI/CD Pipeline**: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support the software development lifecycle.
- **Automation**: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and improve system efficiency.
- **Configuration Management**: Use configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet) to automate provisioning and manage infrastructure as code.
- **Monitoring and Logging**: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and deployment of code.
- **Security**: Implement and maintain security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and compliance with industry standards.
- **Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and workflows.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, System Administration, or similar role.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, etc.).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to improving processes.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certification in AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with network security and performance monitoring.

- Full-time position with occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed.
