Perform lab procedures and assays related to nucleic acid isolation, PCR, NGS and other molecular biology tests, according to SOPs using appropriate laboratory techniques.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks, SOP documents, and computer databases
- Manage, monitor, and maintain equipment, facilities, and supplies.
- Work in a professional and collaborative manner with co-workers and customers
- Provide operational support for testing activities including reagent preparation, cleaning activities, and equipment maintenance
- Work on routine assignments as well as ones that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations
- Help evaluate new technologies, instruments, and develop new service/product lines

**Qualifications**
- M.sc/PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years lab experience is required
- Experience in bioinformatics is an advantage
- Proficient in standard molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extractions
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting
- Strong attention to detail
