**Position**: Research Associate - Formulation R&D

**Qualification**: M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics or related field)
**Experience**: 3-5 years in formulation development, specifically in pharmaceutical companies specializing in pellets and MUPS (Multiple Unit Pellet Systems).

**Responsibilities**:

- **Formulation Development**:

- Design and develop formulations for pellets, MUPS, taste-masked granules, and DC granules.
- Conduct pre-formulation and formulation trials to optimize processes and product performance.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Develop and scale up manufacturing processes for pellets and MUPS.
- Optimize coating, granulation, and drug layering techniques to meet quality and regulatory standards.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Prepare and maintain technical documents, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), protocols, and development reports.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs during formulation development.
- **Analytical Coordination**:

- Work closely with analytical teams to ensure the development of robust stability and release profiles for formulations.
- Interpret analytical data to refine formulations and resolve any quality issues.
- **Technology Transfer**:

- Assist in the transfer of developed formulations from R&D to manufacturing.
- Provide technical support during the scale-up and validation phases.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Troubleshoot formulation challenges, including stability, dissolution, and process-related issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive measures to ensure product consistency.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, QC, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful product development and regulatory submissions.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the formulation development of pellets and MUPS.

**Key Skills and Attributes**:

- Strong understanding of formulation principles, especially for pellets and MUPS.
- Hands-on experience with granulation, layering, coating, and drug release modification techniques.
- Proficiency in handling formulation equipment like fluidized bed processors (FBP), extrusion-spheronization, and coating machines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
