- **Job Duties and Responsibilities**_
- _Create and maintain api-based automation test scripts using tools like ReadyAPI, RestAssured_
- _Testing APIs and managing the test automation framework_
- _Participate in creating and clarifying User Stories, and in planning Sprints_
- _Understand test data needs and coordinate with up/downstream apps to seed them. Use of virtualization as needed to shift left._
- _Maintain and adapt existing automation framework to move to CI/CD approach_
- _Being proactive & driving tasks to closure sticking to the defined timelines._
- _Author and maintain an agile test strategy to include approaches for unit, system, integration and other forms of testing._
- _Analyzes metrics on testing activities, generate test status reports & update management_
- _Communicate effectively and collaborate with globally distributed teams in an overlapped approach_
- **Skills, Experience and Requirements**_
- _Minimum of 3- 9 years of experience in designing, developing API automation scripts and testing API’s._
- _Strong knowledge of various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC)_
- _**Strong Knowledge in SQL, API testing (Automation)**_
- _Proven expertise in automation tools - RestAssured,ReadyAPI using Groovy scripting._
- _Experience and strong knowledge on SQL queries usage. Unix knowledge would be an added advantage._
- _Extensive experience in automating functional, regression and other repeatable tests_
- _Exposure to test management tools such as ALM, Rally, Jira_
- _Exposure to CI/CD pipeline engineering and maintenance using tools like: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Maven etc._
- _Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools_

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹349,604.02 - ₹1,750,356.61 per year
