What you’ll do at Ather:
You will be working as a technician with hands-on experience of soldering and reworking microcontroller/SoC based systems interfacing with displays, radios, sensors and actuators.
- Board bring-up through manual soldering/desoldering.
- Maintain and Organize Lab equipment and component infrastructure based on 5S methodology.
- Executing check in/check out process for Lab assets.
- Ensuring adherence of safe working practices in Lab
- Perform reworks on production boards for quick tests.
- Modify production boards for ease of testing.
- Good knowledge of handling different harnesses with different gauges, making sturdy and compact test setups.
- Use lab equipment appropriately, following proper test standards (UL, ARAI, BIS, IEC standards). Comply with clean room procedures, ESD guidelines etc.
- Be comfortable in a challenging, fast moving environment

Here’s what we are looking for:

- Excellent soldering skills. Rework and soldering of SMD and thru-hole Devices on PCBAs.
- Proficiency with use of lab equipment like multimeters.
- Ability to read schematics and harness drawings.
- Basic knowledge of electric circuit design and analysis (Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, Diodes).
- Debug & Troubleshooting of Embedded HW Systems/Boards
- Beneficial to have:

- Knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets.

- Diploma/Bachelors in electrical field with significant hands on work on PCBA.
