Job description

We are looking for a **licensed Pharmacist (B.Pharm / D.Pharm)** who is not only qualified to manage a pharmacy but also has strong **sales and customer service skills**. The role involves guiding customers towards **affordable generic medicines**, maintaining compliance with drug laws, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Dispense medicines as per prescriptions with 100% accuracy.
- Actively **recommend and explain benefits of generic medicines** to customers in place of higher-priced branded medicines.
- Build customer trust through **counseling, guidance, and follow-up service**.
- Maintain stock records, billing, and ensure availability of essential medicines.
- Keep proper compliance with the Drug & Cosmetics Act and pharmacy license conditions.
- Support marketing initiatives like **pamphlet distribution, awareness campaigns, and customer education.**

**Qualifications**
- **B.Pharm (preferred) or D.Pharm**, from a recognized institute.
- Must be a **Registered Pharmacist** with the State Pharmacy Council of Gujarat.
- Sales/retail pharmacy experience preferred (freshers with strong communication also considered)

**Skills Required**:

- Strong product knowledge (generic vs branded medicines).
- **Sales & persuasion skills** - ability to convince customers on value & quality of generics.
- Good communication in **Gujarati, Hindi, and basic English**.
- Basic computer knowledge (billing, stock software).
- Customer-friendly, ethical, and proactive personality.

Location - Pandesara, Surat

Salary - As per experience

Job Timing - 9 AM to 9 PM

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
