**Your team**

Our team is currently building a highly scalable platform to address the upcoming challenges of the Wealth Management industry.

We are currently looking for passionate Architect to join our team and build services which will be used by financial services companies all over the world.

**Your mission**
- Work closely with Product Owners and Software Architects to design architecture to fulfil the product vision
- Document, communicate, and educate the team on software architecture and patterns
- Rationalize and communicate architectural solutions to other Architects and Product Owners
- Create prototypes, proof-of-concepts and a clear economic assessment
- Provide Architecture consulting to Avaloq Customers, Prospects

**Qualifications**:
**What you need**

University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years of work experience in one or more of the following Architecture roles: Business/Banking Architectures, Technology/Software/Integration Architectures, Enterprise architectures, Digital banking.
- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills
- Profound experience in building Highly Scalable Applications using Microservices
- Up to date knowledge on Business and IT architectures patterns, methods, and tooling.
- Excellent understanding of Relational databases
- Very Good understanding of Design Patterns used in Java and Microservices Architectures
- Strong quality focus with a collaborative hands-on spirit
- Ability to work in an agile team
- Open-minded, team-oriented, and communicative personality
- Being eager to learn and wanting to take on new challenges
- Fluent in English

**You will get extra points for the following**
- Experience with Spring Boot, Open API3, Oracle and Kafka
- Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Building and maintaining CI pipelines and dev ops for Microservices
- Working experience in the financial services industry, ideally Wealth Management
- Avaloq experience/certification
- Personal projects or Open-Source contributions
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
