**Job Summary**: The Legal and Compliance Officer will oversee legal matters related to the company's real estate operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing corporate governance, and liaising with regulatory authorities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Legal Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including the Companies Act, RERA, and other real estate-specific legislation.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure timely filings with regulatory bodies.
- **Document Management**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as property agreements, contracts, and MOUs.
- Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory authorities, including annual returns and financial statements. citeturn0search1
- **Corporate Governance**:

- Organize and prepare agendas for board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs).
- Take minutes, draft resolutions, and ensure that all decisions are properly documented and communicated.
- Advise the board on their duties, responsibilities, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. citeturn0search3
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with property transactions and other business operations.
- Maintain and update the company’s risk register and ensure appropriate risk management practices are in place. citeturn0search3
- **Stakeholder Communication**:

- Act as a liaison between the company, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with LLB or
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with LLB or
- Semi-qualified CA with Semi-qualified CS with LLB
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within the real estate sector.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of corporate law, real estate regulations, and governance best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with legal and compliance management software.

**Compensation**: Competitive salary up to ₹10,00,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
