**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Provide bedside nursing care to patients as per physician’s orders and nursing protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress.
- Assist patients with daily living activities (feeding, hygiene, mobility).
- Administer medications and injections safely.
- **Clinical Support**:

- Assist doctors during rounds, examinations, and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain patient case sheets, reports, and treatment records.
- Collect samples and send them for lab investigations.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment as required.
- **Monitoring & Reporting**:

- Identify changes in patient conditions and report immediately to doctors.
- Maintain accurate documentation in nursing notes and reports.
- Ensure timely handover and takeover of patient care during shifts.
- **Safety & Infection Control**:

- Follow infection control protocols, sterilization, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure safe disposal of medical waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of ward/ICU/OT.
- **Patient & Family Education**:

- Educate patients and families about treatment, medication, and post-discharge care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and relatives.
- **Administrative & Other Duties**:

- Ensure adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and equipment.
- Participate in training, CMEs, and continuous learning programs.
- Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality norms.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing** (valid Nursing Council Registration).
- Clinical experience in ward/ICU/OT preferred.
- Knowledge of nursing procedures, medications, and patient care techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
