Accounts Payable Executive

Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable Executive at Foxx Life Sciences, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial transactions related to supplier invoices, expenses, and payments. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, maintaining vendor relationships, reconciling accounts, and providing support to the finance department. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Accurately review, verify, and process supplier invoices and expense claims in a timely manner using the company's accounting software or ERP system.

Payment Management: Prepare and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments, ensuring adherence to payment terms and company policies.

Vendor Management: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and handle payment-related issues in a professional and timely manner.

Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and open balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Expense Reporting: Assist in the management of employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation.

Financial Reporting: Provide relevant data and reports to the finance team as needed, contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant accounting standards in all accounts payable activities.

Record-Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable, transactions and documentation.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, finance, and procurement, to resolve issues and improve overall financial operations.

Require TDS/GST knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5-6 years) in accounts payable or a similar finance-related role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software (Knowledge of Dynamic s/w is beneficial) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ready to work in U.S timings.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Commerce Graduate or postgraduate.
- Prior experience in the life sciences industry or a related field is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance related to accounts payable.
