For CIS, connectivity is the key to victory** **Job Summary**:Chitkara International School is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team for both Panchkula and Chandigarh Location. **Required Experience**: - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. - Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. - Assess students' skills and learning requirements to provide personalized learning experiences. - Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student progress. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success. - Monitor and report on students' progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. - Provide support and guidance to classroom assistants and other support staff. - Stay updated with the latest educational practices, tools, and resources in special education. - Conduct regular assessments and adjust teaching strategies based on students’ performance and feedback. - Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes students' social, emotional, and academic growth. **Qualifications**: - B.Ed. or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. - Valid teaching certification in Special Education. - Proven experience working with students with special needs. - Strong understanding of diverse learning disabilities and effective teaching methods. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and support staff. - Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential. **Other Details**: **Interview Mode**: Face to Face **Experience: 0 to 3 Years** Work Location: In person
