**Job Title**: CNC/VMC Assembly Fitter**Location**: [Specify Location]**Department**: Production/Assembly**Reports To**: Production Manager**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assembly of CNC/VMC Machines**:

- Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of CNC/VMC machines based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and assembly of machine components.
- **Machine Inspection and Testing**:

- Perform pre-assembly inspection of components for defects or non-conformity.
- Conduct basic operational tests after assembly to ensure functionality and precision.
- **Technical Documentation**:

- Interpret and work with engineering drawings, assembly layouts, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Document any modifications made during assembly for future reference.
- **Coordination with Teams**:

- Collaborate with design, machining, and quality control teams for smooth assembly processes.
- Provide feedback on design improvements or part adjustments, if necessary.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Address and troubleshoot assembly issues during production or trials.
- Assist in machine commissioning at client sites, if required.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols while working with heavy machinery and tools.
- Maintain tools and the workplace in compliance with company standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Background**:

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter Trade, or equivalent qualification.
- **Experience**:

- 2-5 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine assembly or similar roles.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in interpreting mechanical and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential.
- Experience with tools like micrometers, calipers, and alignment tools.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
