We are looking for a Designer/Merchandiser for soft home furnishings.

We are looking for an Export-Oriented Designer/Merchandiser Profile for Soft Home Furnishings
- **Export Merchandising Experience**: Proven track record in handling home têxtiles, home décor, or kitchenware, with specific expertise in export documentation, order execution, and supply chain management.
- **End-to-End Coordination**: Ability to act as the primary point of contact between suppliers, manufacturers, logistics partners, and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of export orders and timely shipments to overseas clients.
- **Product Development & Sampling**: Experience coordinating with design and production teams for product development, approvals, and timely sample dispatch.
- **Export Documentation**: Proficiency in preparing and managing all export-related paperwork, including invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, and customs clearance.
- **Production & Logistics Oversight**: Skilled in monitoring production schedules, ensuring quality control, compliance with international standards, and optimizing shipping timelines and costs.
- **Client Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain strong relationships with overseas clients and address any order fulfillment or quality issues.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for data management and reporting.
- **Experience**: 2-4 years (mid-level) or 6-7 years (senior level) in export merchandising for home furnishings, depending on the role's seniority.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance.
- **Market Awareness**: Up-to-date knowledge of global homeware trends, international trade regulations, and sustainability practices is a plus.

Typical Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers and production teams.
- Coordinate product development, sampling, and approvals.
- Prepare and manage all export documentation.
- Monitor production and ensure timely shipments.
- Liaise with logistics partners for efficient shipping.
- Address and resolve export-related issues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:
