Production Supervisor

The Stitching Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the stitching operations within the home-made ups department. This includes managing the team of stitchers, ensuring quality control, maintaining production schedules, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality product output.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Supervision and Management**:

- Supervise and manage a team of stitchers to ensure efficient and timely production of home-made ups products.
- Allocate tasks and assignments to stitchers based on skill level and production needs.
- Train new stitchers on company standards and procedures.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor the stitching process to ensure products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of finished products.
- Implement corrective actions for any defects or issues identified during the stitching process.
- **Production Planning**:

- Coordinate with the Production Manager to develop and maintain production schedules.
- Ensure that production targets and deadlines are met.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and supplies needed for stitching.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify areas for improvement in the stitching process and implement changes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Work with the Production Manager to develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the stitching department.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of production, quality control checks, and inventory levels.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance and submit them to the Production Manager.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in têxtiles, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a stitching or sewing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in various sewing techniques and familiarity with different types of sewing machines and equipment used in home-made ups production.
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of fabric properties, garment construction, and quality control principles.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
