**ROLE**:
Technical Lead/Software Engineer/Technical Architect

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
Technical Lead: 6 Yrs of experience with 3 to 4 Yrs of eCommerce experience in Demand ware.

**EDUCATION PROFILE**:
Software Engineer: Minimum 3 Yrs of relevant experience.
Technical Architect: 10-16 Yrs of experience with 4 to 5 Yrs of eCommerce experience in Demand ware.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- As a Technical Architect - Demandware, you will translate client requirements into technical
designs, design schema, implement Demandware extensions, design and create product catalogue
hierarchy and integrate with content management systems and search engines, un-locking the business
value of Demandware.
- You will independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall
solution.
- Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of Demandware.
- Design and Develop - features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart,
product search, order management, promotions, social ecommerce, Integrations like Payment,
Analytics, reviews, Tax etc.
- Able to analyse, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and
Demandware implementation.
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions and articulate
business need in terms of DW Business Manager Configuration.
- Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation.
- Collaborate with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
- Should lead 15 to 7 members and mentor the team members.
- Should be able to own end to end project technical delivery of 2 to 3 projects.
- Should take ownership in delivering the quality product not only for self but also for team.
- Should be able to design solutions and document specification documents.
- Ability to provide Estimates for a given Task / Module.
- Knowledge on controllers and SFRA is must.
- Participating in SLA and Go Live activities.
- Ability to work on cross platforms/frameworks.
- Contributing efforts towards solutions & assets.
- Participating in presale activities.
- Holding full force knowledge.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Mastery of ecommerce implementation specifically on Demandware platform.
- Good understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases and build script
- Deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server.
- Understanding of all Administrative options/tasks/interfaces available in Business Manager.
- Knowledge of the concepts of price and inventory, and had worked with external vendors to set
up feeds and processes for these on projects.
- Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integration.
- Address/shipping/tax validation, Payment authorization, CRM, OMS without help.
- Expert of SiteGenesis & SFRA, DOM structure, jQuery event handling and frontend third party integrations.
