- **Measure products**: Use calipers, gauges, and micrometers to measure products
- **Record results**: Document inspection results, including deviations and defects
- **Communicate issues**: Report defects to supervisors and collaborate on solutions
- **Monitor production**: Ensure production processes meet standards and identify areas for improvement
- **Follow regulations**: Ensure products meet industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- **Maintain equipment**: Operate and maintain precise instruments for measuring
- **Analyze data**: Run statistical studies and analyze quality-related customer concerns
