**Position**: ITI-Certified Electrician
**Location**: Varies based on project location

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and distribution panels.
- Set up temporary electrical connections for construction sites as per project requirements.
- Test and commission electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all work complies with Indian electrical standards and safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential electrical hazards.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols.
- **Project Support**:

- Collaborate with site engineers and supervisors to execute electrical works as per project timelines.
- Assist in interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Provide support in electrical system design and modifications as required.
- **Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including faults in circuits, equipment, and machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime on construction equipment.
- **Material Management**:

- Maintain an inventory of electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Ensure proper use and storage of materials to avoid wastage or damage.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Prepare and maintain records of electrical works, including installations, repairs, and inspections.
- Report progress and challenges to the project manager or site supervisor.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Electrician Trade.
- **Experience**: 2-8 years (Experience in civil construction projects preferred).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools.
- Familiarity with single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment like multimeters and insulation testers.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability to work in varied and challenging environments.

**Key Requirements**:

- Willingness to work at construction sites across different locations in India.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations applicable in India.
- Physical fitness for handling electrical installations in demanding conditions.
