**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions on GCP.
- Lead cloud architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
- Establish best practices for cloud operations, cost management, security, and automation.
- Define CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on architectural decisions.
- Ensure cloud solutions comply with security, scalability, and compliance standards.
- Evaluate new GCP services and provide recommendations for adoption.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years in a cloud architecture role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong background in cloud-native design, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices.
- Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or GCP Deployment Manager.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, and monitoring in cloud environments.
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g. **Professional Cloud Architect**) strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments (e.g. GCP + AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with data engineering or AI/ML services on GCP.
- Experience in industry-specific compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI).
