**Job Description: Purchase executive (Fruits and vegetables)**

**About the Company**

Farm bounty is a leading Agri product-based company committed to providing high-quality agricultural products. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase executive (Fruits and vegetables)

**Job Summary**

He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and accounting related to Fruits and vegetables products. This role will involve Sourcing, Procurement & Merchandising of Fruits & Vegetables for all India stores, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Sourcing**: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and secure the best suppliers for fruits and vegetable and master preparation and management for present and upcoming stores
- **Vendor Management**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of products and service.
- **Contract Negotiation**: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to protect the company's interests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Purchase Order Processing**: Oversee the entire purchase order process, Price and margin negotiation, Wholesale market visit & benchmarking.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate inventory records, implement effective stock control measures, and optimize inventory levels to minimize costs.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and analyze financial reports related to procurement activities, including cost analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators. End to End coordination to ensure that Top line & Bottom line is achieved as per Organizational Budget.
- **Team Management**: Training to front end staffs on product handling and display.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- MBA in Agriculture or a related field
- BSC in Agri and horticulture
- Minimum 2-3years of experience in fruits and exotic industry.
- Strong understanding pricing trends, and market dynamics
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Heading a team of Buyers for respective regions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Desired Skills**
- Experience in implementing procurement best practices and technologies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Handling farm sourcing and imports
