What follows is a Job Description from the family of Pradeep Rajadas VGP; for their home in Saidapet, Chennai, India.

We’re looking for a Full-time Nanny to take care of our 4-year old daughter and 2 years old Son at our home between the hours of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Our daughter is currently two years old, and requires a person to mind her during the day when she generally roams around our home (We live in an apartment type space in a joint-family building). We also have a son who is 3-months old now; so he isn’t very mobile (yet)

Our daughter is small made, quiet, and loves music. She will dance for almost anything. She is fussy in her eating habits; and currently does not speak (but she does communicate afew words here and there).

Since both parents are working during the day it becomes necessary to have a live-in nanny to mind the child, and keep the house.

Your responsibilities including:
Minding the baby during the day.

Helping her play, and learn things.

Putting her to sleep for her naps.

Bathing her, clothing her, cleaning her up, and making sure she eats properly.

We do have a chef who makes three delicious meals for us every day, and your meals are taken care of.

We travel about once a month, and will of course make arrangements for you to accompany us, if required. On most days we work from home, so we will be as hands-on as possible. If we do go out socially, we will of course make arrangements for the nanny, if required.

At our core, we’re a very tightly knit family, and we’re trying to do the best by our child in a world that’s moving very quickly. We require that the nanny be fully vaccinated; and handle the baby with extreme care.

Because scheduling is important to us, we require the nanny to be punctual always. Most of our plans go awry otherwise.

As a person, you must be clean, speak well (If you can speak English, we’d be thrilled) and you must be hard-working.

Taking care of a child is a serious commitment, and we only want people who are passionate about doing the best job they can. You must have had at least 1 year experience handling young children as a nanny.

This is a full-time position in Saidapet, Chennai, India.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
