**Job Summary**:
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Plans and directs the day to day operations of the lab to shift chemists
- Maintain all records of lab.
- Ensure on time Testing of all incoming RM, PM before unloading of material
- Ensure all intermediate as well as finish good product quality as per specifications
- Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved and service is quick and efficient.
- Sound knowledge of mineral testing, practices and procedures
- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
- Supervises the safe receipt and storage of material.
- Responsible for planning and executing of all the activities in the laboratory.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Analyze working of shift chemists and check their records
- Attend customer complaints.
- Train guide shift chemists
- Constantly work to improve processes
- Make suggestions for productivity improvements
- Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members specially with production team
- Train, guide and evaluate functional & cross-functional teams.

**Job Specification**:
Education and Experience requirements:

- B.Sc. from Chemistry having 4 -7 years working experience.
- Good knowledge of all mineral related testing methods.
- Should be from Mineral processing background
- Good working experience in MS-Office
