Phlebotomist

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures to collect blood samples.
- Properly label and store all specimens for accurate processing.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Build rapport with patients to alleviate any anxiety and ensure a positive experience.
- Prepare and manage documentation related to sample collection and patient information.
- Sterilize equipment and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
- Coordinate with lab staff for timely sample processing.
- Handle emergency situations with calmness and professionalism.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Certified in Phlebotomy (mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and lab safety protocols.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
