**Job Title**: Safety Officer
**Location**: Erode (with travel requirements)
**Industry**: Construction
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations under the **Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act**.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Implement and monitor **health & safety policies** at construction sites.
- Train workers on safety procedures and emergency response.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with project managers and ensure adherence to workplace safety norms.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and conduct safety drills.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **BOCW License** is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of **construction safety standards** and industry best practices.
- Minimum **2-5 years** of experience as a Safety Officer in the **construction sector**.
- Strong communication skills in **Tamil & Hindi (Hindi is mandatory)**.
- Willingness to **travel** to different project sites (added advantage).
- Certification in **Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / OSHA** (preferred).

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Must be proactive and have strong problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
