**2D Video Game Artist & Animator (Remote)**

Santafeast is an Independent video game development studio founded and led by game enthusiast Amir Yatoo.Being a passionate indie studio, we challenge ourselves to create games with new mechanics, polished aesthetic and interesting gameplay. At Santafeast, we strive to bring innovations to traditional game genres. Through changing the gaming landscape by implementing new, unique features
Santafeast aims to create an amazing experience for its players through a mix of an addicting gameplay and our signature art style.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Researching references and resources required to produce the assets of the game
- Sketching concept designs and key elements of the visual style
- Building 2D environment, props, models of all assets in line with the technical limits of the game engine
- Create efficient animation Rigs and Skin characters as per game specifications
- Integrating special effects to textures, scenes and events,
- Designing promotional materials, packages, posters for the launch of the game
- Creating storyboards to visualize scenes and create a realistic environment for games, and other visual effects.
- Basic understanding of Unity 3D and its workflow is a plus

**Software**
- Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Z Brush or any similar tool/s.
- C# (Optional)
- Unity 3D(Optional)

**Skills Required**:

- Basic UI Designing
- Motivated and passionate about video games;
- Proficient technical skills and expertise in Photoshop
- Strong drawing skills, ability to visualize and design from abstract ideas
- Solid knowledge of game genres and latest trends in gaming
- Knowledge of 2D animation, and familiarity with the principles of animation
- Team player, ability to work independently
- Ability to create special effects
- Understanding of optimization for mobile platforms

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 4 years industry experience working on mobile game projects and art direction
- A Bachelor’s degree preferably in technology would be preferred or any other training or equivalent.

**Additional requirements**
- Professional online work portfolio
- A well written and well formatted CV with all critical information

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
