**Position**:Special Educator

**Pre-School**:Nirah Early Years

**Location**:Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

**Employment Type**: Full-time, 6 Days a week (2nd and 4th Saturday off)

**Timings**: 8:15am to 4:15pm

**Job Overview**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assessment & Planning**: Evaluate the needs of individuals and develop tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior modification strategies.
- **Specialized Instruction**: Provide focused teaching and support to address challenges related to autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and related conditions.
- **Behavior Therapy Integration**: Implement evidence-based techniques to manage and improve behavior, attention, and learning outcomes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to development.
- **Progress Monitoring**:Track and document progress, adjusting strategies to ensure continued growth and success.
- **Family Support**: Offer guidance and training to parents and caregivers to support learning and development at home.
- **Safe Learning Environment**: Foster an inclusive, safe, and engaging space that supports learning and emotional well-being.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Educational Background**:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- **Certifications**: Training or certification in behavior therapy, autism intervention, or related specialties is preferred.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism, ADHD, and related conditions.
- **Skills**:
○ Strong understanding of developmental disorders and behavior management

techniques.

○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with

children and families.

○ Ability to create engaging and effective teaching strategies tailored to individual

needs.

○ Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
